
Easy No-Knead Sandwich Bread – Soft, Fluffy & Foolproof!
1️⃣ Activate Your Yeast
Pour warm water into a large mixing bowl and add the sugar and instant yeast. Stir gently and leave it to rest for 5-10 minutes, until the surface becomes foamy. This foam is a sign your yeast is alive and ready to help your bread rise.
Tip: Make sure your water is warm but not too hot—it should feel like bath water—to keep the yeast healthy.
2️⃣ Stir Up the Dough
Add the all-purpose flour and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix everything together using a spoon or spatula until you have a cohesive dough. It will feel quite sticky—that’s perfectly normal!
No kneading required! The gluten will form naturally as the dough rests and rises.
3️⃣ Let It Rise
Cover the bowl with a clean dish towel or plastic wrap. Set it in a warm spot for around 1 hour, or until the dough has doubled in volume.

A warm corner of your kitchen
Near a sunny window
Inside your oven with just the light on (but keep the oven turned off!)
