Ingredients for the Marinade:

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/3 cup olive oil

  • 4 tbsp soy sauce

  • 4 tbsp lemon juice

  • 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tbsp Italian herb seasoning

  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper

  • 1 tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp white pepper

  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine garlic, olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Italian herbs, cayenne, black pepper, white pepper, and salt. Mix well.

  2. Place the steaks in a zip-lock bag and pour the marinade over them.

  3. Seal the bag and gently massage the marinade into the steaks to ensure even coating.

  4. Refrigerate the steaks for at least 2 hours, or overnight for the best flavor and tenderness.

  5. When ready to cook, heat a cast-iron skillet over high heat.

  6. Add the steaks and sear for 5 to 8 minutes on one side, then flip.

  7. Cook for another 3 to 4 minutes on the other side to achieve a medium to well-done steak.

  8. Remove the steaks and let them rest for 5 minutes. Top with a pat of butter.
