Garlic Butter Beef & Rice Skillet

A comforting one-pan dinner that’s creamy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. Juicy ground beef, tender rice, and a rich garlic butter sauce come together with cheddar and parmesan for the ultimate weeknight meal.

Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 cup long-grain white rice

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 cups beef broth

  • ½ cup heavy cream

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

1. Brown the Beef

  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

  • Add the ground beef and cook until no longer pink, about 5–7 minutes.

  • Stir in the garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

2. Cook the Rice

  • Add the rice, beef broth, salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir to combine.

  • Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce heat to low. Simmer 15–18 minutes, until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
