Instructions
-
Mix Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the canned chicken, egg, Dijon mustard, breadcrumbs, thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is well mixed and evenly combined. -
Shape the Fritters
Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions and form into round, flat patties. -
Heat the Oil
Pour oil into a deep-sided skillet, enough to cover the bottom generously. Heat over medium heat until shimmering. -
Fry the Patties
Carefully place the chicken fritters in the hot oil. Cook for about 3–4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy. Flip gently to avoid breaking them. -
Drain and Serve
Once cooked, transfer the fritters to a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil. -
Enjoy!
Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce—ranch, honey mustard, or spicy mayo all work great. Pair with a side salad, roasted veggies, or fries for a complete meal.

-
Go cheesy: Mix in ¼ cup of shredded cheddar or mozzarella for a melty twist.
-
Use fresh chicken: If preferred, substitute canned chicken with shredded rotisserie or cooked chicken breast.
