HOW TO MAKE HIBACHI?
On my last trip to Japan, I tried for the first time an incredible Asian dish, HIBACHI, it was dangerously delicious, and I want to try it again.
That’s why I decided today to share with you my HOMEMADE HIBACHI RECIPE.
INGREDIENTS:
HIBACHI RICE:
1 tablespoon sesame oil.
2 tablespoons softened butter.
2 tablespoons soy sauce.
1 large egg.
1/2 sweet chopped onion.
2 cups cooked rice.
HIBACHI NOODLES:
1 tablespoon sesame oil.
2 tablespoons soy sauce.
1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce.
1 tablespoon garlic butter.
250 g noodles.
A pinch of salt.
HIBACHI STEAK:
500 g sirloin steak.
1 tablespoon vegetable oil.
2 tablespoons garlic butter.
2 tablespoons soy sauce.
1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce.
Ginger Sauce:
2 tablespoons lemon juice.
1 tablespoon grated ginger.
1 teaspoon minced garlic.
1/2 chopped onion.
1/4 cup soy sauce.
1/2 tsp white vinegar.
1/4 tsp sugar.
INSTRUCTIONS:
STEP 1:
I made the ginger sauce by mixing all the ingredients together well.
I added 3 tablespoons of water and chill in the refrigerator for 5 hours.
STEP 2:
In a large skillet, I heat oil. I added onion, 1 large egg, and saute for 2 minutes. Then I added this mixture to cooked rice, butter, and soy sauce.
I seasoned with salt and pepper. Then I placed it into a serving plate.
STEP 3:
To make hibachi noodles, I cooked the following the package instructions, and I added seasoning.
STEP 4:
In the same skillet, I heat vegetable oil and sauteed the steak when it begins to brown, and I added the remaining ingredients.
You can replace steak by chicken or shrimps.
STEP 5:
One of the most ingredients to make a homemade hibachi is veggies, I used zucchini, carrots, and onions.
In a large skillet, I drizzled olive oil and sauteed the veggies with salt and pepper, soy sauce, and a pinch of water.
SERVE THE VEGGIES AND THE STEAK WARM WITH THE GINGER SAUCE.
