THE INGREDIENTS LIST:
2 Lbs.Of crab legs, thawed if frozen.
1/2 Cup.Of unsalted butter – melted.
3 garlic cloves – minced
1 Tbsp.Of fresh lemon juice.
1 Tsp.Of dried parsley flakes.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Lemon wedges and fresh parsley for garnish.
PREPARATION:
1st Step
Prepare a temperature in your oven of 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius). This will guarantee that your crab legs are cooked through evenly and completely.
2nd Step
If your crab legs have been frozen, you will need to defrost them completely before using them. They should then be dried with a paper towel after being blotted with cold water.
3rd Step
Crack the shells of the crab legs using kitchen shears or a dedicated crab cracker. Do this very gently. The taste of the meat is improved as a result of the butter sauce being able to penetrate the flesh.
4th Step
To melt the butter, place it in a small pot and set the heat to low. After approximately a minute of sautéing, add garlic that has been minced, and continue cooking until the aroma is released. Take care to prevent the garlic from becoming brown.
5th Step
Take the pan off the heat and toss in the lemon juice, dried parsley flakes, salt, and pepper until everything is combined. This results in a butter sauce that is aromatic and flavorful, and it will be the ideal accompaniment to the sweet crab flesh.
6th Step
Put the crab legs that have been broken into a large baking dish. Spread the butter sauce out equally over the crab legs, making sure that each piece is covered well.
7th Step
Wrap a layer of aluminum foil around the baking dish. This helps to trap steam and flavor, which keeps the crab legs wet and succulent even after they have been cooked. Bake in an oven that has been warmed for about 15-18 minutes, or until the crab flesh has reached the desired temperature.
8th Step
Take the baking dish out of the oven and set it aside. To add a splash of color and an additional dimension of taste to the crab legs, garnish them with some fresh parsley and slices of lemon.
9th Step
The Baked Crab Legs in Butter Sauce are delicious when consumed on their own, but they may also be served with a side of garlic butter for dipping or in conjunction with a salad that is crisp and fresh. As you serve the crab legs while they are still hot, observe your guests as they relish each delectable mouthful.
