Homemade Spaghetti Recipe
Embarking on this homemade pasta endeavor has become our latest culinary delight! Recently, both Jack and I have found ourselves immersed in the kitchen, experimenting with breads, baked goods, and more.
Yet, amidst our culinary explorations, the allure of crafting homemade pasta has been irresistible. The process is not only enjoyable to undertake together but also demands just a handful of basic ingredients. And, of course, the fact that it’s utterly delicious doesn’t hurt either. 🙂
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 pound of lean ground beef
½ yellow onion
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon of salt
Half a teaspoon of pepper
1 tablespoon of fresh minced garlic
3 cups of water
1 jar of spaghetti sauce
1 can of chopped tomatoes (optional)
16 ounces of spaghetti pasta
Instructions:
Preheat the air fryer to a fryer setting.
Once ready, add onions and olive oil. Sauté until the onions have softened.
Add the ground meat and spices, cooking until the meat is tender.
Remove the meat and add water, scraping the bottom well to prevent any air pot burning warnings.
Break the spaghetti in half and arrange it in a criss-cross shape in the air fryer.
Pour the spaghetti sauce over the noodles, and optionally, add a can of chopped tomatoes.
Pour water over the spaghetti sauce, ensuring coverage on the sides and top of the tomatoes. Press down slightly to immerse the spaghetti in water.
Put the lid on, turn the valve to seal, and set the air fryer to pressure cook.
Set the time for 5 minutes. When the time is up, allow the pressure to release naturally for an additional 5 minutes.
Quick release until the pin drops out. Open the lid and stir the spaghetti, sauce, and tomatoes with the cooked meat.
Serve with a dinner salad and cheese garlic toast if desired.
Enjoy your homemade spaghetti!
