THE MOST COMFORTING, SMOOTH BEEF TIPS WITH EGG NOODLES

 

INGREDIENTS

2 pounds of cubed sirloin tips

½ chopped yellow onion

2 cans (10.75 ounces each) condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 cup of milk

½ cup of red wine

1 package (1.25 ounces) beef with onion soup mix

2 packages (16 ounces each) egg noodles

INSTRUCTIONS

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Sauté the beef sirloin tips and onion together for approximately 5 minutes or until the beef is cooked, and the onion is translucent.

In a medium mixing bowl, combine milk, mushroom soup, and red wine, stirring until well mixed.

Pour the mixture into the skillet, coating the beef with the sauce.
Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 2 hours until the beef tips are soft and tender.

Further reduce the heat to low and continue cooking for an additional 4 hours until the beef easily breaks apart.

In a large pot, bring water to a boil, adding salt.

Cook the egg noodles for 5 minutes or until al dente. Drain and rinse with cold water.

Use a ladle to serve the beef tips over the cooked egg noodles.
