Ingredients:
1/2 cup of shortening.
1 1/2 cups of white sugar.
Two eggs.
1 cup of mashed ripe bananas (3–4 bananas).
1/2 tsp of salt.
One tsp of baking powder.
One tsp of baking soda.
Two cups of all-purpose flour.
1/2 cup of sour cream.
1/4 cup of milk.
One tsp of vanilla extract.
Directions:
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Step 2
Cream 1/2 cup shortening with 1 1/2 cups sugar. Add 2 eggs and mashed bananas.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, sift 2 cups flour, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp baking powder, and 1 tsp baking soda. Add to banana mixture.
Step 4
Mix in 1/2 cup sour cream, 1/4 cup milk, and 1 tsp vanilla.
Step 5
Grease a bundt or 2 bread pans, pour in batter.
Step 6
Bake for 1 hour or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Step 7
Cool the item briefly, then transfer it to a wire rack.
