Ingredients:
2-3 lb pork loin roast.
1 onion, thinly sliced.
2 tbsp. olive oil.
½ cup brown sugar.
¾ cup apple cider vinegar.
½ cup honey.
¼ cup soy sauce.
2 tsp salt.
3 garlic cloves, minced.
2 cups fresh pineapple chunks.
Optional: 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes.

Step 1
First, sear the pork in oil until browned, then transfer it to the slow cooker along with the onions.

After that, combine sugar, vinegar, honey, soy sauce, garlic, salt, and pepper flakes in a mixing bowl.

Then, put pineapple chunks into the mixture in the slow cooker.
Step 4
Next, cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or on high heat for 4-5 hours until the pork is tender.
Step 5
Finally, if you wish to thicken the sauce, you can use a cornstarch slurry.
