Instructions:
Step 1
In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook and crumble the ground beef, onion, green pepper, and salt until the beef is no longer pink.

Drain any excess fat.
Step 3
Stir the cornstarch into the cooked ground beef until it is fully coated. Add the beef broth, A.1.
Step 4
sauce, and steak seasoning. Stir to combine and bring the mixture to a boil.

Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium-low and let it simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 6
The mixture will thicken as it cooks and even more once it’s off the heat.
Step 7
While the meat is simmering, set the oven to broil.
Step 8
Place the buns on a cookie sheet and butter each one. Broil for just a few minutes until they are golden brown.
Step 9
Watch carefully as they can burn easily.
Step 10
When the meat is done, use a slotted spoon to scoop it onto the bottom half of each bun.
Step 11
Place a slice of provolone cheese on the top half of the buns. Broil for a few more minutes until the cheese is melted.
Step 12
Place the top bun with the melted cheese on top of the bottom bun with the Philly cheesesteak meat. Serve warm and enjoy!
