Easy Peach Dumplings

 

Instructions:

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.

Step 2

Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate into triangles.

Step 3

Place one or two peach slices (depending on size) at the wide end of each dough triangle.

Step 4

Sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon over the peaches, then roll the dough around the peaches.

Step 5

Place the assembled dumplings in the prepared baking dish. Repeat until all dough and peaches are used.

Step 6

In a large bowl, melt the butter. Stir in the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon until well combined.

Step 7

Pour the butter mixture over the dumplings using a large spoon.

Step 8

Carefully pour the Sprite around the edges of the baking dish, avoiding pouring over the tops of the dumplings.

Step 9

Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the dough is lightly browned on top.

Step 10

Serve warm, topped with vanilla ice cream.
