Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, mix the flour, granulated sugar, salt, and melted butter until a crumbly dough forms. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Bake the crust for 15-20 minutes, or until lightly golden.
- While the crust is baking, whisk the eggs, golden syrup, brown sugar, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl. Stir in the chopped pecans.
- Pour the pecan mixture over the baked crust.
- Bake for another 25-30 minutes, or until the filling is set.
- Let the bars cool completely before cutting into squares.
