Ingredients
For the Butter Mixture
-
1/4 cup butter, melted (unsalted or salted — your choice)
-
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (adds that pizzeria flavor)
-
1 teaspoon garlic powder (because everything is better with garlic)
For the Cracker Pizza Sandwiches
-
60 round Ritz Butter Crackers (original flavor works best)
-
30 slices pepperoni (mini pepperoni works too)
-
5 slices mozzarella cheese, each cut into 6 rectangles
Instructions
-
Preheat the Air Fryer
Turn your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and let it preheat for 2–3 minutes. A preheated air fryer helps ensure even cooking and that irresistible golden-brown crisp.
-
Assemble the Mini Sandwiches -
Lay half of the crackers flat side down on a clean work surface or baking sheet.
-
On each cracker, place 1 slice of pepperoni followed by 1 piece of mozzarella.
-
Top each with another cracker to create a little sandwich.

-
-
Prepare the Butter Seasoning
In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder until fully combined.
-
Brush the Crackers
Using a pastry brush, lightly coat the tops of the sandwiches with the seasoned butter mixture. This not only adds flavor but also helps achieve that golden, crispy finish.
-
Arrange in the Air Fryer
Spray the air fryer basket lightly with nonstick cooking spray. Arrange the sandwiches in a single layer, making sure they’re not touching. This allows hot air to circulate for even crisping.
-
Air Fry to Perfection
Cook for 3–4 minutes, or until the cheese is melty and the crackers are golden brown. Keep a close eye on them — air fryer times may vary depending on your model.
-
Cool and Serve
Carefully remove the sandwiches from the basket — they will be hot! Let them cool for 1–2 minutes before serving. Enjoy warm for the best flavor and texture.
