The best biscuits
In a large mixing bowl, sift together 2 cups All Purpose flour, a tsp salt, and 1 1/2 tbls baking powder.
Grate one stick of very cold butter into the flour mixture. Gently mix butter into the flour with your fingers.
Pour just under a cup of milk into the mixture and mix with a wooden spoon just until combined. Pour ingredients out into floured surface and gently fold about 5-7 times until mixture is together.
Pat out to cut biscuits and cut using a sharp biscuit cutter. Place into a cast iron skillet and bake at 450 for 15 minutes.
