Bonnie’s Blue Ribbon Chocolate Dream Cake

 

An irresistible dessert layered with silky caramel, sweetened condensed milk, and crunchy toffee, all crowned with billowy whipped cream. Perfect for celebrations—or anytime you need a decadent treat.

Ingredients

Cake:

  • 1 box Devil’s food cake mix

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

  • 6 oz Hershey’s caramel ice cream topping

  • 3 Heath bars, crushed

Topping & Frosting:

  • 1½ cups heavy whipping cream

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

  • ¼ cup crushed Heath bar (reserved for garnish)

Instructions

1. Bake the cake
Prepare the Devil’s food cake in a 9×13-inch pan according to package directions. While still warm, use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes evenly across the surface.

2. Crush the candy
Smash the Heath bars into small pieces, reserving ¼ cup for garnish.

3. Infuse with caramel & condensed milk
Warm the caramel slightly, then drizzle evenly over the cake. Pour the condensed milk on top, letting it soak into the holes.
