CARAMEL PECAN DREAM BARS

 

THE INGREDIENTS LIST:

FOR THE CRUST:

• 1 Cup.Of all-purpose flour.

• 1/4 Cup.Of granulated sugar.

• 1/2 Cup.Of unsalted butter, softened.

FOR THE CARAMEL LAYER:

• 1 Cup.Of unsalted butter.

• 1 Cup.Of brown sugar, packed.

• 1/4 Cup.Of light corn syrup.

• 1/2 Tsp.Of salt.

• 1 Tsp.Of vanilla extract.

• 1/4 Cup.Of heavy cream.

FOR THE PECAN TOPPING:

• 2 Cups.Of pecans, roughly chopped.

• 1/4 Cup.Of granulated sugar.

• 1/4 Cup.Of heavy cream.

• 1 Tsp.Of vanilla extract.

• Pinch of salt.

PREPARATION:

For the crust:

1st Step

First, you need to set the oven temperature up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius). Prepare a 9-by-13-inch greased baking pan.

2nd Step

Combine the flour, sugar, and butter (that has been melted) in a medium-sized mixing basin. Combine until the point when a crumbly dough may be formed. Lightly grease a 9-by-13-inch baking dish and press the dough into the bottom.
