Classic Banana Pudding Recipe

 

Ingredients:

2 boxes vanilla wafers.

6-8 ripe bananas, sliced.

2 cups milk.

1 (5 oz) box French vanilla pudding mix.

1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened.

1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk.

1 (12 oz) container frozen whipped topping, thawed.

Instruction:

Make the Pudding:

Mix milk and pudding mix in a bowl. Whisk for 2 minutes until thickened. Chill until set.

Prepare the Cream Cheese Layer:

Beat cream cheese until smooth. Mix in sweetened condensed milk.

Combine Mixtures:

Fold the pudding into the cream cheese mixture. Then fold in whipped topping.

Assemble:

Layer vanilla wafers, banana slices, and pudding mixture in a dish. Repeat layers, ending with pudding.

Chill and Serve:

Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight. Garnish if desired. Serve chilled.
