Classic Old-Fashioned Pancakes

 

Instructions:

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, salt, and sugar.

Step 2

Whisk in the milk, egg, and melted butter until well blended. Let the batter rest for 5 minutes.

Step 3

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and lightly grease it with cooking spray.

Step 4

Pour about 1/4 cup of batter per pancake onto the hot skillet.

Step 5

Cook until bubbles form on the edges and in the middle of each pancake, about 2-3 minutes.

Step 6

Flip the pancakes and cook for another 1-2 minutes, until golden brown.

Step 7

Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
