A pre-made pie crust.

1 ½ Cups.Of sweetened shredded coconut.

A medium can.Of sweetened condensed milk.

1 Cup.Of coconut milk.

3 large eggs.

1 Tsp.Of vanilla extract.

Additional sweetened shredded coconut, toasted (for garnish, optional).


1st Step

Prepare your oven by preheating it to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).

2nd Step

Follow the directions on the pre-made pie crust packaging to transfer it into a pie dish about 9 inches in diameter.

3rd Step

Mix the sweetened shredded coconut, sweetened condensed milk, coconut milk, eggs, and vanilla essence together in a large mixing dish. Stir the mixture very well until all of the components are completely incorporated.

4th Step

After the pie crust has been made, pour the coconut mixture into it and smooth it out evenly.

5th Step

Place the pie dish in an oven that has been warmed to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and bake for about 35 to 40 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is a light golden brown color.

6th Step

Take the pie out of the oven and allow it to come down to room temperature entirely before serving.

7th Step

To decorate the pie before it is served, you may choose to sprinkle toasted sweetened shredded coconut on top.

8th Step

To toast the coconut, lay it out on a baking sheet and bake it in an oven that has been warmed to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius) for 5-7 minutes, tossing it about every so often, until it is golden brown.

9th Step

Cut the coconut cream pie into slices and serve it at room temperature or chilled.
