Ticket sales data from specific locations appear to support those projections. In Palm Beach, Florida, near Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence, Newsweek reports that only 13 percent of tickets had been sold at the time of writing, with just 234 seats filled out of 1,770 available.
Similar trends have been reported in other major US cities. Social media posts show sparse sales in places such as Boston, where one AMC theater reportedly sold only a single ticket across multiple Friday evening screenings.
International demand also appears limited. In the UK, The Guardian reports that Vue Cinema CEO Tim Richards described early interest as “soft,” noting that at the chain’s flagship Islington theater in London, only one ticket had been sold for a Friday afternoon showing and just two for the evening screening.
