HAMBURGER STEAKS WITH ONION GRAVY

 

Ingredients:

500 g of ground beef

2 medium eggs (for binding)

2 tbsp bread crumbs (for texture)

1 tbsp olive oil (for frying)

1/2 tsp each of onion and garlic powder (for flavor)

1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (for a savory kick)

2 small onions, thinly sliced (for sweetness)

2 and ½ cups beef broth (for the rich gravy)

2 tbsp flour (to thicken the gravy)

Salt and black pepper (adjusted to taste)

Instructions:

Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, eggs, onion powder, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.

Shape the mixture into 8 round balls, then flatten them into steak shapes.

Fry the patties in a skillet until they’re beautifully browned, keeping them warm.

In the same skillet, sauté sliced onions with garlic powder and flour. Gradually add Worcestershire sauce and beef broth, cooking for about 7 minutes until it thickens into a delicious gravy.

Return the patties to the pan and let them simmer in the gravy for over 10 minutes.
