Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in garlic powder and marinara sauce. Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a greased 9-inch pie dish, unroll the crescent rolls and press them into the bottom and up the sides to form a crust.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly over the crescent roll crust.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top, then add dried basil or Italian seasoning.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden and the cheese is melted.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
