12 oz egg noodles, cooked
1 lb ground Italian sausage
2 bell peppers, chopped
3 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ cup white cooking wine
28 oz canned diced tomatoes (with juice)
1 tbsp dried basil
Salt and pepper, to taste
Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
Cook sausage and peppers in a large skillet over medium-high heat until sausage is browned and peppers soften.
Reduce heat to medium, add garlic and Italian seasoning, and sauté for 30 seconds.
Pour in wine and cook until reduced by half.
Stir in tomatoes, basil, salt, and pepper. Simmer briefly.
Add cooked noodles and toss until heated through.
Serve topped with Parmesan and parsley.
