Ingredients:
For Flatbreads:
350g Flour
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
A pinch of Salt
60ml Oil
120ml Water
For Brushing:
Pressed Garlic (adjust quantity to taste)
A touch of Oil
Herbs to taste (such as parsley, cilantro, or rosemary)
Preparation:
Prepare the Dough:
In a spacious mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
Add the oil and water to the dry ingredients. Knead the mixture by hand or with a dough mixer until it forms a smooth dough. Adjust with more flour if too sticky or a bit more water if too dry.
Shape the Flatbreads:
Pinch off small portions of the dough and roll them into balls. On a lightly floured surface, use a rolling pin to flatten each ball into your desired thickness (approximately 1/8 to 1/4 inch).
Cook the Flatbreads:
Heat a non-stick skillet or frying pan over medium heat. Once hot, place a flatbread in the pan.
Cook each side for about 2-3 minutes or until they turn golden brown and slightly puff up. Repeat with the remaining flatbreads.
Garlic Oil Brushing:
In a small bowl, blend a bit of oil with pressed garlic and your preferred herbs to create a flavorful brushing mixture.
After cooking each flatbread, brush the warm surface with the garlic oil mixture to infuse them with a delectable garlic and herb flavor.
