Ingredients:

2 pounds of lean ground beef.

1/2 cup of breadcrumbs.

1/4 cup of milk.

1 (1 oz) packet of onion soup mix.

1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme.

1/4 cup of all-purpose flour.

2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil.

1 white onion, thinly sliced.

2 cans (10 oz each) of condensed cream of chicken soup.

3/4 cup of water.

1 (1 oz) packet of au jus mix.

How To Make Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak

Step 1

First, mix beef, breadcrumbs, milk, onion soup mix, and thyme; and shape into 8 patties.

Step 2

Then, place sliced onion in the slow cooker.

Step 3

After that, brown patties in olive oil, then stack on onions in the slow cooker.

Step 4

Next, mix soup, water, and au jus; pour over patties.

Step 5

Finally, cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours.
