A breakfast meal that is both really tasty and quite simple to prepare.

My favorite method to serve French breakfast to children is rolling up into roll-ups that can be held in the hand. This is a fun way to serve French toast. This recipe for French toast will quickly become a new favorite of yours, and you will be pleasantly pleased by how simple they are to prepare.

If you’re not a huge lover of strawberries, you can simply substitute blueberries, raspberries, or peaches for them in this recipe. Peaches are also a great option. You can even use jams. In the fall, fresh apples that have been chopped would go well with this as well; all you need to do is sprinkle some cinnamon on them. And Nutella would be a wonderful addition, particularly for the little ones!

THE INGREDIENTS LIST:

White sandwich bread; I used 10 slices.

Fresh diced strawberries; you’ll need approx. 2 cups.

Cream cheese; about 4-ounces.

1/4 Cup.Of powdered sugar.

2 whole eggs.

2 large spoons.Of milk.

3 small spoons.Of granulated sugar.

1/4 small spoon.Of cinnamon powder.

PREPARATION:

1st Step

Mix the strawberry dice with the sugar (1 tsp) and toss so that everything is evenly coated.

2nd Step

In a separate dish, combine the cream cheese that has been softened with the powdered sugar and whisk the mixture until it is mixed.

3rd Step

Roll the bread slices out with a rolling pin, then remove the crusts and discard them. Put a teaspoon of the cream cheese mixture on one side of the bread, and spread it around the edge.

4th Step

Place a dollop of chopped strawberries on top. Roll the bread up in a gentle manner. Continue with the bread that is left over.

5th Step

Whisk the eggs with the milk, the remaining 2 teaspoons of sugar, and 1/4 tsp of cinnamon in a small bowl. Add in the egg mixture.

6th Step

Warm up your pan that doesn’t stick by placing it over medium heat. Spray with cooking spray or add a little bit of butter before cooking.

7th Step

After dipping the rolls in the egg mixture, arrange them on the pan with the seam side down. After one side has browned, flip it over and continue cooking until all sides are done.

8th Step

Take them out of the oven and serve them with syrup, more strawberries, or a dusting of powdered sugar.
