Ingredients
For the Cake:

½ cup cold, cubed butter

For the Cinnamon Molasses Frosting:

1½ cups powdered sugar

4 oz cream cheese

¼ cup softened butter

3 tsp molasses

½ tsp vanilla extract

¼ tsp cinnamon

Prepare the Oven and Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 5×9-inch baking pan and line it with parchment paper.

Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, and pumpkin pie spice.

Heat Liquids: In a small saucepan, warm the milk and brown sugar until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is lukewarm. In a separate pan, gently heat the molasses and corn syrup until lukewarm.
