Ingredients:

1 cup fresh blackberries, plus extra for garnish

2 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)

4 oz reposado tequila for a smooth woody note

2 oz Cointreau or triple sec

Juice of two limes

Crushed ice, as desired

Handful of fresh mint leaves for garnish

Coarse salt or sugar for rimming, optional

Instructions:

In a cocktail shaker, muddle blackberries and sugar until sugar begins to dissolve.

Add lime juice, orange liqueur, and tequila to the blackberry mixture. Add crushed ice.
